Je to prirozene pohodlnejsi, nez commandline radek modemu, kam se nota bene kazdy nemusi umet dostat.

P-660HW-T3 v2 ma moznost zmeny MTU primo v GUI mode modemu.
( Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) , TCP and IPv4 headers are 20 bytes long each, whereas an IPv6 Header is 40 bytes long, so the MSS is equal to MTU minus 40 when using IPv4, and MTU minus 60 when using IPv6 (Typical MTU for IPv4 is 1500 bytes).
Extradikci z Microsoftu je nutno nastacit pro PPPOE max. 1492 MTU). Nema byt pres 1492 (pro xDSL).

For example : ras> ip if enif0 10.0.0.138 mtu 1492.

O2 od 6.9.2008 snizil vsechna inet. pripojeni 8 Mbit na cca 6 Mbit, spolu se zmenou inicializace linky O2. 8 Mbit se ma teprve pozdeji navratit (spolu s 12-16 Mbit ta, kde to pujde).
