The shenanigans know no bounds....luckily, in this sea of pain and anguish,the shining beacon of light and righteousness, ATi, stand, with their Get in the Game program that they managed so badly(because they`re not evil like nV, see, so they couldn`t actually have a program where they worked really close with devs, pushing their tech into their stuff) that no game is part of it. - Morgoth the Dark Enemy

NVIDIA "GT200" is pretty much ready

The G8x architectures has been with us for an extremely long time, and with the G9x refresh, NVIDIA has had more time than ever to complete the true next generation architecture, known as both "G100" and "GT200". Apparently, NVIDIA has been working hard because the story is that NVIDIA could present its next architecture any day now, if it wanted to, but instead it's going to keep riding the G92 wave until AMD is ready to launch the R7x series.
