Ked si pozries zdrojak emailu, su na vrchu hlavicky s ip adresami, pripadne aj dns menami pocitacov/serverov, odkial/kade vsade ten mail isiel. Z toho zistis zdrojovy pocitac. Nie je potom nic jednoduchsie ako zistit jeho "sietove meno" pomocou nslookup alebo host.
V pripade spamu byva zdrojovy pocitac takehoto emailu casto nejaky zavireny domaci alebo firemny pocitac.
