"Performance Level" in MemSet is the tRD value.

This is what the Gigabyte manual says :


Performance Enhance
Allows the system to operate at three different performance levels.
- Standard Lets the system operate at its basic performance level.
- Turbo Lets the system operate at its good performance level. (Default)
- Extreme Lets the system operate at its best performance level.


1) If Standard sets tRD to 12, and Turbo sets it to 8, what does Extreme set it to ?

2) Are these values ( 12/8/? ) fixed, or do these values change with FSB ? Or with the CPU default FSB ( and therefore the default strap ) ?

Think Gigabyte customer service will respond if I ask them ? I'll try ...

Takze by to opravdu mohlo menit tRD, coz by ale taky melo jit menit rucne primo jako hodnota (u starsich BIOSu pres CTRL+F1, tak mozna proto tam nechali pro "normal usera" tyhle 3 polozky - Normal / Turbo / Extreme)

Mělo Mně to nic nemění... LEDA možná že by to měnilo jen v případě, že nastavím Auto...

A to je prave presne to co jsem psal

a co zkontrolovat jestli tim "Extreme" jen nemeni nejake "Auto" polozky v BIOSU pres

Protoze pokud nemas zobrazene nastaveni pameti pres CTRL+F1 (plati u starsich biosu), tak pres Normal / Turbo / Extreme s tim dokaze pohnout i "normal user"

Moje deska to všechno zobrazuje defaultně už kdoví od jakýho biosu

Nicméně záhada je teda asi rozřešená, protože tRP nastavuju natvrdo na nejnižší možnou hodnotu, se kterou to ještě funguje.

Čtu, jen jsem neměl potřebu reagovat na evidentní věc (byť jsem si jí poprvý nevšimnul)...
