Reaguju na slovo "cheatování". To použil první až Inquirer (nebo Fudzilla? ale to vyjde nastejno), nikoli ATi/AMD. ATi upozornila, že jejich NR filter netrpí temporálními artefakty jako NR filter nVidie (75%+), nikoli že nVidie cheatuje. Temporální artefakty jsou docela běžná záležitost u většiny NR filtrů - protože kombinací spaciálních a temporálních algoritmů se dá dosáhnout nejlepšího kompromisu výkon/kvalita/artefakty - temporální způsobují duchy a "motion blur", spaciální snižují ostrost, proto se to kombinuje, aby ani jedno nedosáhlo příliš vysoké úrovně. A ATi se podařilo vyvinout filtr, který nesnižuje detaily nijak výrazněji, než konkurenční a zároveň netrpí temporálními artefakty. Takže o žádném cheatování nemůže být řeč - je to starý známý neduh temporálních algoritmů.
