http://www.fudzilla.com/index.php?op...d=661&Itemid=1R600XTX, the 1024 MB GDDR 4 card, has been pushed to the next quarter. This is just one in a series of ATI's failures, but of course DAAMIT will call this a strategic decision. R600XTX won't see the face of retail / etail stores till Q3 2007.
We know that something went wrong with the samples and that the there were some severe performance problems with the latest batch of GDDR 4 cards. Basically 512 MB DDR3 version with 1600 MHz memory was beating the GDDR4 version with 1024 MB of GDDR 4 memory clocked at 2200 MHz.
But of course, the unlimited evilness of the ultimate tool of mischief, the universal explanation for sucky performance from anything other than nVidia, TWIMTBP, strikes again. The shenanigans know no bounds....luckily, in this sea of pain and anguish,the shining beacon of light and righteousness, ATi, stand, with their Get in the Game program that they managed so badly(because they`re not evil like nV, see, so they couldn`t actually have a program where they worked really close with devs, pushing their tech into their stuff) that no game is part of it. - Morgoth the Dark Enemy

No, ono je to trošku jinak než no-X píše a taky se nestane, že by člověk koupil něco zpočátku předraženého.Tak to je uzitecna informace, je videt, ze se vyplati kupovat s rozvahou a neskocit hned po nahypovane novince...
Víc říct nemůžu (podepsal jsem NDA), ale ten poslední odkaz na DailyTech není fake (je to opravdu leak, asi přímo z tech day v Tunisu).

No ja v tom jasno mam. DX10 grafiku na 80/90nm nebudu ani kupovat, nestoji mi to za to. Cekam na 65nm verze a je mi jedno jestli R650 nebo nebo G8x/G9x.Tim lip pro nas, zakazniky. Diky za informaci.
