As of January 1, 2004, Microsoft no longer accepted certification submissions for the Microsoft® Windows® Millennium Edition operating system. The ATI CATALYST™ CREW however is committed to all its customers and is now providing non certified WHQL software drivers for users of the Windows Millennium Edition operating system. These drivers will provide enhanced stability and focuses on fixing known issues associated with previous versions of the Windows Millennium Edition software driver.

Issues Resolved in the CATALYST™ Software Drivers for Windows ME
This section provides information on CATALYST™ driver issues that have been resolved in the latest release of CATALYST™. These include the following:

Aquamark 3: Desktop display corruption is no longer seen when installing the application
Foxbear: Switching display modes when running the application no longer results in flashing being seen when the mode change takes place
Serious Sam: Playing the game under Windows ME results in the display flashing when TRUFORM™ is enabled
Screen corruption (flashing color bars) are no longer seen when running certain direct-draw or D3D applications on systems using an ASUS P4G8X Deluxe motherboard leveraging Intel's E7205 chipset and an ATI RADEON™ X800 series installed
Launching Dolphin sample in full screen mode when the display device is set above 1600x1200 and the wait for vertical sync option is set to off, no longer results in the lower part of the display being corrupted
Setting the display device to 1600x1200 and running the Dolphin sample for approximately one minute no longer results in corruption being seen in the ATI Display tab found in the ATI Control Panel
Display corruption is no longer seen when un-docking and enlarging the MULTIMEDIA CENTER™ toolbar
