Zvýšenou oproti čemu? Oproti MSRP nVidie? To bylo vždy jen prázdným marketingovým číslem. nVidia sama nikdy karty koncákům neprodávala, aby mohla dokázat, že jde o cenu, za kterou lze hardware bez provaru dodávat (minimálně oproti ATi, která až do sloučení s AMD hardware za MSRP skutečně prodávala).
Je sice pravda, že si velkoobchody na GT dávaly o něco větší marže, než na mainstreamu, ale to v době vydání platilo i pro HD3870 a byla to čistě záležitost nabídky a poptávky - zájemců bylo víc, než karet...

Zajímavé. Výprodejové ceny ještě před vydáním. Je-li tomu tak, musí (při ceně 1GB GDDR3) nVidia čipy prodávat za pakatel.
