0x80070005 je podle mě pouze označení zamítnutí přístupu a neurčuje skutečnou chybu...
The restore point could not be created for the following reason:
Access is denied. (0x80070005)
1.) Made sure the right drive was selected for the restore point.
2) Turned off all anti-virus/spyware applications.
3) Tried changing permission to System Volume Information (SVI) folder and ownership. Changed permissions to full control for my username and SYSTEM... Changed ownership to both aswell.
4) Before and After changing permissions/ownerships, I tried to make the SVI folder not read only...
5) Tried changing permissions/ownerships to the whole drive...
6) Tried disableing and renenabling System Restore.
7) Tried disableing and rebooting then renenabling System Restore.
Defragged HDD.
9) Performed a diskchk.

To find out exactly what directory/registry setting is getting access denied, you could run Process Monitor and then during the backup and look at the log file to see if you find Access Denied.
