Přesně tak... Byla 256bit Parhelie rychlejší, než 128bit Radeon 8500? Je 512bit Radeon HD2900XT rychlejší než 256bit GeForce 8800Ultra? Šířka sběrnice není klíčová. Klíčová je její propustnost, tzn. součin šířky a frekvence. A to pouze v případě, kdy je propustnost sběrnice limitujícím prvkem výkonu. Propustnost sběrnice 8800GT je 90% 8800GTS. Frekvence jádra 8800GT jsou na 120% GTS... proč tedy hledat problém tam, kde není?

GTX a Ultra ma 384 bitovu sirku a GTS 320, ale aj tak to je jedno. Je to vykompenzovane rychlostou a vyroba pwb pre 256bit je lacnejsia...

Samo nezpochybnuju to cos napsal. Sirka sbernice neurcuje celkovy vykon a muze to byt tak akorat reklamni lakadlo ,ale ten preklep byl do oci bijici

To souhlasím... ale kdybys viděl, co všechno jsem v sobotu absolvoval, asi by ses tomu nedivil
Jinak těch 256bitů u GT podle mě moc omezující nebude. V praxi je to 10% rozdíl - výkon čistě při CSAA to neovlivní prakticky vůbec... navýšený trianglerate v mnohých situacích udělá víc, než pár procent na sběrnici

Ty testy mi prijdou jako testovane na ruznych verzich driveru a pak dane do jednoho grafu. Prikladne Ultra pomalejsi nez GTX a GT rychlejsi nez GTX. Kazdopadne z toho jde vycist asi tolik, ze GTcko bude vykonem mezi GTS a GTX, coz asi vsichni cekali.

Geforce 8800GT is faster than RV670XT
FudzillaWe can now confirm that Geforce 8800GT will win against RV670XT, clocked at 825MHz with the DDR4 memory at 2400MHz. Nvidia’s chip is more powerful and faster in most of the games and synthetic benchmarks but at the same time the chip generates more heat, it's 65 nanometre and it is more expensive for Nvidia to make.
As a consumer you should not worry about these things but knowing how the new ATI thinks we can bet that RV670XT / PRO and GT will end up cheaper than Nvidia prices and this will be the way to fight Nvidia.

Tomuhle se mi nechce verit. Proc by nV zlevnovala GT, kdyz bude mit vykon na urovni RV670XT, ktera se mela prodavat za 299USD?Nvidia's original plan was to price the D8P/G92 at $ / €299, but ATI’s aggressive pricing changed Nvidia’s mind.

Card Makers Self-Designed 8800 GT Cards
VR-ZoneINQ is reporting about 50K GeForce 8800 GT cards available for sale on the launch day on Oct 29th. However, only 512MB versions will be available at US$249 and 256MB versions at a later stage at US$199. VR-Zone learned that the first wave of reference cards will be made by Foxconn and the subsequently Flextronics. The AIC partners are working hard on designing the 256MB and 512MB cards themselves and we should be seeing different designs and coolers later next month. Also performance will vary pretty much between each makers too due to different PCB designs, memories, coolers, core/mem clock as well as shader clocks.

InquirerWhen it comes to 256MB part, it will mostly depend on the number of available G92_200 series. In all reality, this is a mainstream G96 part, G92_300 is the real G92 and that is a high-end part with yes, 384-bit memory controller... or 768-bit, given by the amount of memory on prototype boards.

wth? no predsa chaos ako vzdy sposobeny inquirerom. Ano tesime sa na upper "medium end" 256 bitovu GTcku za super cenu ale kazdy predsa vie ze nie je problem dat tie najlepsie a najvyssie taktovatelne chipy na 384bit PCB z 8800vky, a dalsia vec - vsimnite si nvidiacku pin kompatibilitu roznych chipov, taka 7600vka sla na 6600pcb...(atd.) dalsia vec ktora zlacnuje graficke karty pre nas....

8800 GTS 640MB stoji +/- 10 000kc a 8800 GTS kolem 13000kc a tahle karta ktera je vykonem mezi GTS 640MB a GTX bude stat cca 6000? kde to zijem

No to je nejaky BRUTLNI rozdil, ale nevim, zda si nechuca ty ceny z prstu, ja mam ceny o neco lepsi, nez prodava CC, takze tezko mezi mnou a radimem bude takovy rozdil, to bud moje cena je UPLNE spatna, nebo jeho ....
Ale jak rikam u dodavatele tak karta jeste neni, ale cenu tam maji, otazka je, zda si ji taky nevycucali z prstu ...
Ano nekde jsem videl u nejakeho MO cenu cca 5,5 s dani takze buh vi, jak to bude ...
