Koukal jsem na ní, když jsem před LP sháněl novou zvukovku. Škoda, že ještě není k mání a tak jsem neměl na výběr.
Pokud by nebyla předražená (jak bývá u nás oproti USA zvykem), tak bych do ní šel.

The card itself is fairly different from the original X-Fi, although not drastically. You can still see the heatsinked X-Fi chip itself, and above that the twin X-RAM modules. Interestingly, both of these modules bare similar codes to the actual X-Fi, although the X-Fi only has one chip. Both have 64mb of X-RAM, but the Prelude does it in two modules… dual channel anyone?
Unfortunately, as this launch has been pushed before Auzentech engineers were ready, the card doesn’t have the features that make it the X-Fi killer just yet. Wait until sometime in September and you’ll be able to get Dolby Digital Live, DTS Interactive and DTS Neo:PC both of which will be fully compatible with XP and Vista.
I have the distinct feeling that this card will fly off the shelves… not only as it offers more connectivity, but because of the driver fiasco with Creative. Auzentech’s decision to make their own is a sound option and music to the ears of Creative haters, but EAX lovers

Další skvělá věc je, že budou Linuxové ovladače, které by měly obsahovat plnou funkčnost (osobně by mi pod Linux stačilo i stereo). Naplánovány jsou na první čtvrtinu roku 2008.

Od Creative se Linuxových ovladačů podle mě určitě nedočkáme. Jen tak dál Auzentech.
