Byl bych za to rad a resilo by to vse co od karty s tak velkym chipem potrebuju, ale ze bych tomu 2x veril to zrovna ne. I kdyz na druhou stranu, kdyz ted za ATi stoji AMD a ti po utrapach 65nm zvladli, takze moznost tu je...

Původně to napsal w0mbat, ale redakce VR-Zone to pokládá za dost věrohodné na to, aby to umístili na mainpage. Já osobně bych tomu nevěřil ne kvůli tomu skóre, ale kvůli zdroji. Skóre by bylo docela dobře možný - 10k dávaj taktlý verze X1950PRO a ačkoli je RV630 128bit, tak by to vadit nemělo - 3DM nepoužívá FSAA. Krom toho jádro podle mě pojede o dost výš než jádro X1950PRO a navíc se požadavkům 3DMarku může přizpůsobit díky unifikované architektuře.

Upřesnění informací o R600:

Today, we are meeting the latest rumor from CeBIT in Hanover, Germany. According to AMD and ATI graphics business firms AIB senior officials, R600 will be ATI AMD Techday 16 days after the formal sessions, But it is formally released yet clear. CeBIT07 venue other source, R600 will be formally announced in six weeks after that date in early May. In the production and manufacturing process, the R600 will be used outside the current 80nm production process. But according to the venue rumors, AMD hopes R600 chip production using 65nm technology, The reason is that under R600 chip yields 80nm process is not high, a more serious problem and leakage. CeBIT: AMD speaks about R600


Received by AMD, we believed there until the end. When we penetrated in a flanked room of a poster “NDA” we were persuaded that it would be there. And well not. Many times announced R600 and very as many time deferred was not there, finally almost, as explained Vijay Sharma, Product to us Manager of R600 at AMD.

Hello Vijay. We thought of seeing R600, is it there?
Hello. Yes R600 is well here in CeBIT. It is presented in NDA (agreement of nondisclosure) at some of our partners. It is not visible for general public, nor for the press, but our trade partners have it already and can present it at their customers.

And for us will people of the press, when be you he visible?
He will be presented at the press at the end of April/during May at the time of an official presentation under NDA. The date and the exact place of this event are not defined yet, but that will not be in Amsterdam (note: AMD cancelled there is a few days the official presentation of R600 which was to be held in Amsterdam at the beginning of week).

And for the public?
The public will see with blow on of R600 everywhere in Computex which will take place in June since it will be launched during May.

One spoke about a problem of PCB with memory GDDR4. You confirm?
Well on that not. There is no concern, these rumours are nonfounded. R600 functions very well.

This don't CeBIT was the occasion to present it, why do it not?
We wish to develop a complete range around R600. Today, the range and all that goes around are not finalized. We will launch R600 at the same time as all the range of charts which use it.

Will AMD announced a revision with the fall of its sales for the current year, R600 be the product which will save AMD?
We hope for it and let us be persuaded of it. The processor for Barcelona waiter will be well launched this summer. The version general public Agena will be launched second half of 2007. All these innovations will show the capacities of AMD to be dissociated in this market. There is not only R600.

Compared to the solution of NVIDIA, which will give the R600 in terms of performances?
You will be surprised…

AMD received us and let us thank we them. We would have however liked to know some a little more. R600 is not there. There exists can be certainly, but we saw it, nobody besides, and the answers brought to our questions seem to be given in order to save time.
