Aspon se muzete utesovat tim, ze je to zatim nehratelne a pak to casem treba uvolni vsem. Nebo si snad MS mysli, ze poker je jen zabava pro bohate a ty si kupuji samozrejme verzi Ultimate?

Microsoft Delivers First Windows Vista Ultimate "Extras"

Last night, right before the official launch of Vista, Microsoft pushed out Windows Texas Hold'em Poker and BitLocker and EFS Enhancements.

The "Bitlocker and EFS Enhancements" are listed as follows:
Windows BitLocker Drive Preparation Tool - configures your hard drive so that you can use the BitLocker Drive Encryption feature of Windows Vista.
Secure Online Key Backup - stores a backup copy of your BitLocker recovery password and Encrypting File System (EFS) recovery certificates in your digital locker, a secure Microsoft website.

Windows DreamScene (aka Motion Desktop), a Vista Ultimate Extra that allows you to use motion video as your desktop, is still AWOL. Microsoft wowed the audience at CES 2007 with a demonstration of DreamScene during the Bill Gates keynote, but it’s like a feature that will tire very quickly with users.

Windows Vista's SuperFetch and ReadyBoost analysed

Vista comes with two mechanisms that effectively reduce the time required to launch popular applications: SuperFetch analyzes your behaviour and proactively puts applications into available main memory, so they can be launched quicker. Of course this requires as much main memory as possible, which is where the second feature engages: ReadyBoost allows expanding the main memory size by plugging in a USB 2.0 Flash drive. Although the data transfer performance of USB 2.0 devices cannot compete with modern hard drives, access times for Flash memory are literally nonexistent, making these devices a nice and particularly cheap choice.

Prave stahujem vistu z msdnaa (skoda ze len business), ale mam otazku na vase konkretne skusenosti, da sa realne vista pouzivat na slabsich grafikach (mam radeona 9200SE, kedze hry sa vobec nehravam), myslim aj s aerom a inymi grafickymi srandickami?

mno nevim,mne na r9600 se 128mb ram bezi v rozlienim o jedno vetsim nez 1600*1200(nevim z hlavy presne mno) ) bezproblemu...

ale mam jinej problem..nejede mi s vistama muj fotak..canon eos 300D

Aero potrebuje PS2.0 (tj. directX 9.0), takze odpoved je ne. V klasickem rezimu ti vista pojede normalne.

Tak muzes se kouknout na nove feature, ale realne pouzivani bych vyloucil, Aero s tim nespustis a bez nej je cele GUI neskutecne pomale, takze na normalni pouzivani to neni.
