"the FZ50's sensor being marginally noisier (from an examination of the raw files) than the FZ30's"
"the FZ50 produces slightly 'nicer', thought arguably more processed-looking (and slightly softer) images than the FZ30. They are more consumer-friendly, but I personally think they're a little too high on the contrast, saturation and sharpening scale."
"The Venus III used in the FZ50 has already been seen in action in cameras such as the TZ1, so it came as no surprise to see that the results are much more 'smeary' than the FZ30 (though the amount of detail lost is roughly the same). They're certainly less noisy, but they're no better (in fact the color bleeding in red areas is actually pretty unpleasant). Again, there are noise reduction settings on offer (though they don't allow you to turn it down much), and you can always shoot raw (if you can live with the performance penalty), but at the end of the day anything over ISO 200 has to be used in the knowledge that fine detail ain't gonna be recorded, and you're going to be restricted to fairly small prints. Fine for social snaps, but not for serious photographic work."
A tak bych mohl pokračovat dál a ocitovat to celé, což je zbytečné, skutečně si to stačí přečíst. Mimoto jako obvykle doporučuji, aby každý, kdo je ochoten dnes utratit takové peníze za EVF, fotil do RAWu a v oblasti světelnosti a barevnosti šumu si ovlivnil výsledek dle chuti vhodným nástrojem.
