You can disable caching for each drive in Device Manager by optimizing for quick removal.

To sem se dočet na nějakym foru, kde řešen problémy s USB a Win2K, ale nejsem si jistej, jestli to ve Win2k opravdu jde.

A ještě něco sem našel, psali tam, že by to mělo jít tak ve dvoulitrech

While you've got your flash disk active, right-click on the disk's drive icon and select Properties. Then select the Hardware tab. Somewhere in the list should be an entry for your flash disk. Select that, then click Properties again.
In the device properties, select the Policies tab, and ensure that the Optimize for quick removal option is selected. This should prevent write caching to the disk, and allow you to hot-swap it without filesystem corruption (unless you do something stupid like remove it while writing to it).
toto co tu popisujes je asi presne co hladam, akurat to ma jednu nepodstatnu detailnu chybicku a to, ze nic zo zmienenych veci vo W2K SP4 nenachadzam ako moznost nastavenia, pozeral som sa v exploreri cez pr. tlacidlo na vlastnosti, pozeral som sa cez device manager, pozeral som sa cez unplug/uninstall device okno, ale nikde nie su ziadne nastavenie ohladne Optimalizacie pre quick removal ci cokolvek s cache ci hot swap, nanajvys tak v device manager tak ako u HDD nachadzam na 2. zalozke polozku "Write cache enabled" ktora je vsak zasednuta a prazdna, ak si ale dobre pamatam tak nie je na zalozke Policies a tuto som ani nikde nevidel
