However, the K7E is based on Appollo KT133A chipset which can support 133Mhz FSB absolutely. So The K7E can support all of the Duron, Athlon(ThunderBird) and AthlonXP Palomino and ThoroughBred processors. The fastest processors is Athlon XP 2600+. If you choose a processor faster than AthlonXP 2000+, the motherboard with the lastest bios maybe cant detect it correctly.
