po precitani kvanta for na nete som to konecne vyriesil
![]()
to co mi radil radim som uz davno spravil a samozrejme nepomohlo
tento problem je medzi nforce3 a 6800gfx a zaujimave je ze niektorym pomoze iba disable fastwrite inym to zase robi len ked pretaktuju gfx atd.
u mna pomohlo ked som v BIOSE aktivoval skryte nastavenia a disabloval
NV/ATI speed up! a aj vypol fastwrite
testoval som to asi dva dni a neseklo sa to na tych par sekund
teraz to testujem s zapnutym fastwrite a vyzera to tiez OK
ale ako som spominal rieseni je viac a kazdemu pomozenieco ine
tu pastnem par postrehov s jedneho fora
Possible work around 1:
Try if the latest nVidia Forceware display drivers 71.40 fixes the problem
*** PLEASE: REPLY TO THIS SAME THREAD IF THIS FIXED THE ISSUE ***.
We need to know if nVidia is aware of the problem and issued new drivers addressing this.

This fix worked for me. (PRAVE TOTO POMOHLO MNE!!) jupi
Disable Fast Writes and hidden ATI/nVidia speedup settings in motherboard BIOS.
Hidden BIOS setting are displayed if you press SHIFT+F2, and after, CTRL+F3. You will find ATI/nVidia speedup setting in Core Cell section.
With these settings disabled you can overclock your card to the hell. Until it burns in flames i mean.
Beware this fix can produce big performance loss IN REAL GAMES if these are CPU intensive. You will need to balance left Fast Writes OFF and be able to overclock or left Fast Writes ON but be unable to overclock your 3D card. Please try both fixes as per game basis.
Tested speeds and 3D Mark results:
440 core / 1140 ram = 13121 3d marks 2003 and 5136 3d marks 2005 with no graphic garbage or issues.

This fix worked for me.
Install coolbits and downclock your 6800/6800 GT/6800 Ultra to stock reference speeds these speeds are:
6800->300 core
6800 GT->350 core
6800 Ultra->400 core
BEWARE...Would be you must downclock your card bellow reference values. You will must find the correct ones. If downclocking to reference values does not cure the problem, left the speed at reference value and try disabling fast writes in motherboard BIOS too.
Tested speeds and 3D Mark results:
400 core / 1100 ram = 12417 3d marks 2003. Not tested in 3D Mark 2005.

Some people have reported changing the PSU to one with 30 amps for the +12Volts rail fixed this issue, this fix would be controversial because people with these PSUs from the build start are having the issue too.
