Pomoc so sietovkou

NAzdarek, mam problem v Slackwary 8.2 nainstalovat sietovku eth1, ktory ma sluzit na obsluhu lokalnej vnutornj siete z ktorej sa bude routovat na Inet. Internetova karta eth0 mi ide.
Poradte, pretoze proc-pci ju nenajde, ani ifconfig. skusal som aj netcongig a pkgtool nic moc. Iba apropos ju nasiel ako 3com 3c 589. poradte ako ju rozchodit.
Kamosovy ju naslo hnet samo, mne nie.Vdaka.

nie, ta moja je v jedinom ISA slote co mam. Standardna
3com TP/BNC karta.Ked tam hodim knopixa, najde ju okamzite.
Neviem v com je problem. nikdy nerobi problemy, este aj RED HAT ju najde, ale ten teraz nechcem nahadzovat, skusam tento.

OKi, sietovku som rozchodil podla root.cz. takze ta ide, akorat mi dajako nejde nic z kompu. ani do lokalky, ani na net, mam dajako opacne nastavene ovladace ci co. pinam sam seba, ale vom na ove strany nic nejde.

To skusam samozrejme kaydu chvilu, abz som neprisiel o realtec a internet.
Tak som trochu mudrejsi, ovladacmy to nebude. V ethtool je default nastavene eth1 status offline a nejde mi prepnut online, sice viem ako ale Operation is not supported. Potom som vymenil 3com a nejde ani ta, takze kartov to nieje.

pingat sa mi stale neda. nmap tvrdi, ze nieje zapnuta.lsmod-om som sprevadzkoval moduly.

Tcpdump pise same kraviny, take nezaujmave.
Pokial to nebude v tom, vo Win mam IRQ7, v lin 3[12]

Dost by bodlo, keby ste mi na mail poslali 3c509[b].c modul, nech to poriadne preverim

Route pise vsetko v poho, aj rootovanie je ok[ z virtualnej 18 na 70 to ide] ale karta poriadne nejde.

v RC.D skriptoch toho moc nic nieje, neviem to nakonfigurovat.

mii-tool hlasi eth0 oki
eth1 (3com)siocgmiiphy no eth1 failed. operation not supported, a na tom momentalne pracujem.

Inak na 2 PC sa nepingnem, ale cez arp ho vidim ako incomplete. Dik za pomoc

Hovoril som, ze to bude 3C509
Aku mas dosku Nemas nahodou PS/2 mys (na IRQ12) a zvukovku (na porte 220h)?
IMHO treba nabootovat do DOSu a programom 3c5x9cfg (od 3Comu) nastavit tu kartu tak, aby bolo vypnute Plug&Play, nejaky volny port (napr. 300h), IRQ (napr. 10) a pouzity port (TP/BNC/AUI).
mii-tool na tej karte nefunguje, lebo ta karta nema MII.

Samoyrejme ye je Coax, inak bz som to tak neprepol, ono to bolo default TP. Y toho som chvilu magoril, ale potom sa podarilo prepnut, ale furt ma sere ten PHYAD=0, NECHAPEM

Teray som to posahal a uy mi ani modul nenahachuje. sakra. nemozete mi pomoct cez SSH? Spravim uzivatela a tak. pokecame.

Cez telnet by bolo tiez dobre, ale ten mi ide len v noci, ani to nechapem, ale to bude asi v serveri.
Ale vobec nechapem to, ze ho najde, ale ze Incomplete. Potom to sem hodim.

Na 8029 je modul ne2k-pci, ktery jsem jeste nevidel, ze by nechodil. Medium se musi vybrat pres diagnosticky SW, ktery je na diskete ke karte. Pak to chodi skvele, az na zatez CPU
