no neviem na to btc som nasiel par zaujmavych nazorov:
For some reason, my dvd drive (bdv316B) refused to read any CD disc (original retail or CDR, does not matter). It ejected whatever CD or CDR I inserted. It can play DVD just fine though. I'm using Win XP Professional with SP1.
If you know why and how to fix it, please email me. Thnx.

I have the same problem as you : when i insert a Cd-Rom (either retail or CD-R), my BTC 316B just keeps spinning, with the "Busy" led blinking, and i can't read it. Worse, sometimes I can't eject the CD by pushing the eject button then.
And I'm still trying to figure out how to do.
And as you both, I have Windows XP Home Edit. (SP1)

have it the other way around... Perfect with CD, CD-R/W, Audio, but NO DVD's... I too have XP-SP1, no solution so far. I think it is a hardware problem, because the drive keeps spinning even if windows is not loaded during startup.
tazko sudit podla troch ,a le skor by som povedal ze to nebude to prave
