I have done the mod but when I flash the bios it remains an X800Pro and flashrom says in the text it displays ''preserving R42X rom settings'. I think its saying the important part of the flash isnt changing, but it does change the clocks. When I install the drivers it still comes up as a X800Pro

I have tried every variant of flashrom command lines I can think of with no effect......
