Hmmm ... asi máte recht ... našel jsem něco kolem toho R9500 PRO tady:

How can I tell if I have a R9700 PCB?
Easy - look at the card. If it has the 4x2 memory layout - (bear in mind 2 of those sets will be missing on a 64MB board) 2 chips on top of the R300 core and 2 chips to the right - then you're onto a winner. There should also be traces from all 4 sides of each RAM chip, these look like dark lines. These PCB were Only used by 3rd Party manufacturers such as Sapphire. The colour of the PCB is not important!

So What does this all Mean?
Well, the way that the 'made' the 9500 to have only 4 pipelines was to change the position of a resistor on the board itself! This in fact disabled the other 4 pipelines. So with some careful soldering and a little knowledge you can move this resistor, to the pins it is located on for the rest of the R300 range, and 'open-up' those other 8 pipelines!

This then gives your card the same specification as a R9500PRO and you could stop there... but if you are lucky enough to have a R9500 built with a R9700 PCB (and its a 128MB version) you can then proceed to flash the R9500 with an R9700 firmware. This then makes the card believe it is a R9700 and 'opens-up' the 256bit memory bus - that was there all along, just crippled by the R9500 firmware!!
