Chyba myslim jeste opravena neni, protoze nikdo nevi proc to MDK dela. Ale da se to opravit jednoduse tak, ze v BIOS nastavis svuj disk na LBA. A vse ti pojede, jako predtim.Citace:

V pripade dalsich problemu se muzes podivat na http://www.mandrake.cz/index.php?aid=100&stid=30.
kdyz uz odkazujes na erratu, tak musim dodat, ze kdyz bylo MDK nove, tak bylo dost tezke najit v googlu cim by to mohlo byt. A az po nekolika hodinach jsem si vzpomnel na Erratu. Takze neplati to, ze kdyz to neni v googlu tak to neexistuje :!:
A jinak me to na MDK taky dost vytocilo. Clovek kterej prechazi z Win na Linux je timhle pekne rozcilenej, obvzlast kdyz mu to sebere jeho matersky system Win. /nepisu o sobe ;D / Nechapu proc tohle MDK dela a proc to jeste neni OPRAVENO :!:

No a ete ma jedna vec napadla, viem ze mandrake 10 mal problemy zo sata diskami.No a ja mam MAXTOR DiaMaxPLUS 120GB 8MB CACHE SERIAL ATA, pojde to? ako sa to da nainst.?
Zkus se podivat na Mandrake Linux Hardware Database.
Standartne jadro 2.6 podporuje skoro všechny diskové řadiče (a to i můj GigaRAID), ale problém je v tom, že pokud je v biosu nastaven APIC mod, tak stím louská do nekonečna ... proto je potřeba na dobu instalace v BIOSu vynutit PIC mód a po instalaci do lila/grubu nastavit parametr "force pic" a v BIOSu vratit APIC.
Tak disk mi rozpoznalo, ale ked zacina inst. balicky tak to zamrzne(instalacia je v graf. rezime).
Aj ked vypnem APIC, neviete mi niekto poradit?

To noapic je až po instalaci do bootloaderu (ja psal force pic ... správně je to force noapic)...
před instalací, je zapotřebí vypnout to v biose, a pak už žádný parametry nejsou zapotřebí...
Ale tohle zasekávání v době instalací balíčků bylo hodně řešený v foru přímo na www.mandrake.cz ... tak tam zkus hledat...
V biose som to vypol, ale vsak to mrzne tak ci tak. No a esate divnejsie je to, ze to mrzne aj pri format disku (konkretne,ked dam automaticky prerozdelit cast vyhradenu na linux,a dam done ), ale niekedy to prejde zamrzne pri inst, balickou.Citace:

Neviem ci by to mohlo byt mozno mam cd 1 ktore som stahoval z poskodene www.linuxiso.com, ale uz som ho skusil prepalovat tak uz fakt neviem :-(
Vypnuti APIC v BIOSu plati jenom na windoze, Linux si APIC hleda primo v procesoru, takze ho stejne pokazde zapne. Mne pomaha parametr noapic.

Filesystem???? jestli je tam NTFS, tak musíš jedině konvertovat na FAT32 linux officiálně zapisovat na NTFS neumí (záměrně píšu officiálně ... v jádře 2.6.x je už zakomponován komponent, který to dokáže, ale je to ve vývoji, takže je to EXPERIMENTAL ... zkušel jsem to a bez úspěchu)Citace:

A pokud je máš v FAT32, tak nemáš nastavená práva nad přípojnými adresáři ... pokud ano, tak ještě podívej do /etc/fstab jestli je na řádku s patřičným oddílem parametr umask=0
Pří bootvání z CD, místo enter, zmáčkni Fx (tuším F1) ... dostaneš se do konzole s již připravenýmy příkazy .... (začni třeba s příkazem help :wink: )Citace:

ani neoficialne nevie linux pisat suborovo do NTFS a pochybujem ze niekedy aj bude vediet, ta podpora zapisu do NTFS v kerneli je pre ntfsutils aby vedeli opravovat chyby a pracovat s NTFS partitions, a jediny mozny suborovy zapis je pokial sa zapisuje subor s rovnakym nazvom a rovnakou dlzkou, nie je mozne vytvarat nove subory alebo mazat, premenovavat stare.Citace:

Mám MDK10 official se standartním jádrem 2.6.3-7(tusim) a Nvidia GeForceIV 4200 TI a mám nainstalovaný kernel-sources. Když jsem zkusil nainstalovat ovladače na grafiku (5...) tak po zapnutí X vše běhalo ok, ale po vypnutí a zapnutí pc se to v X hned zasekne. Myslel jsem, že to dělají ovladače tak jsem stáhnul nový (611..) ale ty se mi nerozeběhnou vůbec. Nemáte někdo tehle problém? Nevíte jak na něho?
Zkus do /etc/lilo.conf pridat:
append "mem=nopentium"

Ten článek na abclinuxu jsem četl. Samozřejmě, že jsem změnil v konfiguráku "nv" na "nvidia". Jak už jsem psal ovladače 5336 jsem zkoušel (to jsou ty 5... jak jsem psal :-) ). Bohužel přidání append "mem=nopentium" mi rozkurvilo xka úplně. (viz. dole)

Kdybych věděl jak to udělat, tak bych se do toho pustil. Myslel jsem, že to udělám přes FXDrake (jestli se to tak jemnuje). Jenže mi to potvora nejde spustit, celý je to nějaký rozk...vený. Vůbec netuším co dál...:-(
Vymazat ten subor by si mal vediet a potom pouzi napr X -configure
Tak jsem to zkoušel a výsledek se nedostavil. Po napsání startx, monitor akorát zčernal a musel jsem to natvrdo reznout....
Zkus o tom neco precist nemyslim jenom to ceho se tyka tvuj problem ale o linuxu publikaci je mnoho horsich i lepsich jen si vybrat.Nedavno me dostal manik co mi rek chci se naucit v linuxu a ja na to tak si zkus sehnat nakou knizku pro zacatek no a jeho odpoved byla to ja prave nechci. Nejsou to windousi kde se pouze klika a ono to dela skoro vsechno za tebe.Neco se da z klikani v X-kach pochytit ale...

jj, ale kdyz to udela takhle a bude to fungovat, tak bude mit jistotu, ze X server je OK, pak jen prepise nv na nvidia a VYPNE Load "dri" a bezi mu to jak vinko, jestli ne, chybu ma pak uz jen v tech binarnich ovladacich ....
Zamozřejmě, že jsem zkoušel nv i nvidia! Nejsem v Linuxu začátečník a kdyby vše běhalo jak má, tak bych se neptal. Zkoušel jsem všechny nožný nastavení i verze ovladačů na kartu, v sekci module jsem taky udělal vše potřebné. Jen mi to prostě nejede a nejede. Asi si počkám na nový Mandrake 10,1 official. Třeba mi to bude chodit. :-)

Tak jsem zkoušel všechny vámi popsané způsoby a vše se při startu systému změní v hatmatilku a PC vytuhne. Přitom jsem vobu append "mem=nopentium" zrušil (změny jsem samozřejmě zapsal na disk ;D ). Musel bych to asi celé přeinstalovat, protože nevím v čem je chyba. Takže budu čekat na verzi 10,1. :oops: Dík všem za spolupráci....

Na KDE aplikace musis mit nahranej lokalizacni balik cestiny.
V MDK to urcite je.
kde-i18n-cs, tak nejak se ten balicek jmenoval.
Potom je taky mozny, ze vybrany druh pismena proste nepodporuje diakrituku.
Mandrake obcas mival problemy s cestinou, po instalaci napr system vubec nebyl v cestine al v aj, bylo potreba cestinu obnovit, pisou o tom v dokumentaci, me se to tedka nechce hledat.
Pokud Ti ale treba v GNOME aplikacich jede vse ok, proste si v KDE nastav jiny pismena, nebo doinstaluj, pripadne reinstaluj balicek s kde cestinou.
hm tak porblém bude asi v písmu titule jdou česky, ale editor je česky nemá no nic pro zatim dík ještě se vtom budu vrtat....
I mne nazaciatku tuhla Mdk 10.1 potom som sa pohral s drivermi pre grafiku a uz ok....
Chcem sa spitat ze nenasiel som drivery pre radeon9000 na MDK 10.1 neviete onejakych ?
