But if the shader clock goes on improving then the performances also keep improving. So for mid-end and low-end graphics, when the core clock is 600-700MHz, the shader clock the higher the better. Zajimavy clanek o vlivu pretaktovani GPU a shaderu na vykon v ruznych hrach.

Ono je to docela logický. Taktováním hlavní domény se zvyšuje výkon jednotek konzumujících bandwidth, ovšem bandwith nevzrůstá, takže se vzrůstající frekvencí je čím dál větším limitem. Naopak taktování SPs žádnou další zátěž pro sběrnici neznamená (pomineme-li vyšší nasycení TMUs/ROPs ve hrách limitovaných aritmetickou stránkou a s tím související mírný nárůst požadavků na sběrnici), takže je to nejsnazší prostředek, jak se dobrat výkonu bez zásahu do sběrnice/frekvence pamětí.

Bohužel se mi momentálně v článku nezobrazují obrázky/grafy, takže konkrétní vliv můžu jen odhadovat...

Toto je prasárna. Grafy začínající v 60% atd. začínají mizet už i z marketingových materiálů. Pokud je v dnešní době použije "nezávislý" web, aby reálný rozdíl 8 FPS působil subjektivně jako trojnásobek výkonu, můžu ho už těžko jen považovat za objektivní zdroj informací...

To je irelevantní. V testu jsou výsledky obou karet s aktuálními ovladači, na kterých je vidět, že výrazná a marketingově nahypovaná převaha GTX260-216, kterou nVidia potřebovala, aby mohla vytvořit a rozeslat tyto krásné marketingové pamflety, byla jen krátkodobou záležitostostí.

Marketing zelených bol vždy lepší :)
