Byl bych za to rad a resilo by to vse co od karty s tak velkym chipem potrebuju, ale ze bych tomu 2x veril to zrovna ne. I kdyz na druhou stranu, kdyz ted za ATi stoji AMD a ti po utrapach 65nm zvladli, takze moznost tu je...Citace:

Původně to napsal w0mbat, ale redakce VR-Zone to pokládá za dost věrohodné na to, aby to umístili na mainpage. Já osobně bych tomu nevěřil ne kvůli tomu skóre, ale kvůli zdroji. Skóre by bylo docela dobře možný - 10k dávaj taktlý verze X1950PRO a ačkoli je RV630 128bit, tak by to vadit nemělo - 3DM nepoužívá FSAA. Krom toho jádro podle mě pojede o dost výš než jádro X1950PRO a navíc se požadavkům 3DMarku může přizpůsobit díky unifikované architektuře.

CeBIT: AMD speaks about R600
Received by AMD, we believed there until the end. When we penetrated in a flanked room of a poster “NDA” we were persuaded that it would be there. And well not. Many times announced R600 and very as many time deferred was not there, finally almost, as explained Vijay Sharma, Product to us Manager of R600 at AMD.

Hello. Yes R600 is well here in CeBIT. It is presented in NDA (agreement of nondisclosure) at some of our partners. It is not visible for general public, nor for the press, but our trade partners have it already and can present it at their customers.
And for us will people of the press, when be you he visible?
He will be presented at the press at the end of April/during May at the time of an official presentation under NDA. The date and the exact place of this event are not defined yet, but that will not be in Amsterdam (note: AMD cancelled there is a few days the official presentation of R600 which was to be held in Amsterdam at the beginning of week).
And for the public?
The public will see with blow on of R600 everywhere in Computex which will take place in June since it will be launched during May.
One spoke about a problem of PCB with memory GDDR4. You confirm?
Well on that not. There is no concern, these rumours are nonfounded. R600 functions very well.
This don't CeBIT was the occasion to present it, why do it not?
We wish to develop a complete range around R600. Today, the range and all that goes around are not finalized. We will launch R600 at the same time as all the range of charts which use it.
Will AMD announced a revision with the fall of its sales for the current year, R600 be the product which will save AMD?
We hope for it and let us be persuaded of it. The processor for Barcelona waiter will be well launched this summer. The version general public Agena will be launched second half of 2007. All these innovations will show the capacities of AMD to be dissociated in this market. There is not only R600.
Compared to the solution of NVIDIA, which will give the R600 in terms of performances?

AMD received us and let us thank we them. We would have however liked to know some a little more. R600 is not there. There exists can be certainly, but we saw it, nobody besides, and the answers brought to our questions seem to be given in order to save time.

Takze tech 65nm je asi vazne ptakovina a celkem jasna kachna. Se zrejme vratime k tomu kvetnu a 80nm :confused:
Mě spíš připadá zajímavý, že... R600 je zpožděná, je 80nm, ale AMD se snaží vydat co nejdřív 65nm verzi. Pak tu máme R650, která má vyjít podle plánu, zpoždění R600 ji neovlivní (to už jsme tu měli s R520/R580).
Pokud tu máme 80nm R600, 65nm R600 a 65nm R650, tak jak to chce ATi nacpat do názvosloví karet, když 80nm R600 má být vydaná jako X2900?
Dále - pokud by R650 byla X2950, znamenalo by to dost malý rozdíl v názvosloví a nějak se mi nezdá, že by ATi karty, které by se výkonem měly lišit nějak výrazněji, oddělila jen tou padesátkou. Takže co když 65nm R600 = R650?
Pokud půlgenerace R6xx i G8x jsou jen "shrinky", tak co se chystá na začátek roku 2008?
Nekde sem zaslechl, ze NV uz pak hned chysta G90. Melo by to pak byt neco jako 6800->7800. Vylepsena karta na podobne/stejne technologii. V tom pripade bude G90 proste jenom G80ka s lepsi vyrobni technologii a vetsim poctem SPs.Citace:

Ne, ne, urcite k tomu vymyslia par novych nazvov, co vyniknu pri odstraneni bugov G80, zabalia to do krajsej skatule a prihodia 100$
nj, par ludi sa tu tesi na high-end ..pritom aspon 70% ludi caka, kedy konecne bude mainstream, popripade low-end. Jaj, este par dni...

To znamená že RV610 je o cca 20% menší než RV515 (X1300) a RV630 je prakticky stejně velký, jako RV530 (X1600) nebo NV43 (6600GT).Citace:

To je vzdycky dano penezi, kterymi v urcity okamzik disponujes. Samozrejme vsichni vime, ze je hloupost kupovat si high-end, protoze je zbytecne predrazeny, ovsem ve chvili, kdy si to z financniho hlediska muzes dovolit, je strasne tezke odolat tomu pokuseni... ;-)Citace:

Já si nesmyslím, že je high-end předražený. Poměrem cena/výkon je na tom mnohem líp, než low-end a leckdy i podobně, jako mainstream...
Ono jde o to, jake finance mas k dispozici v dobe nakupu, jaky mas ostatni HW a taky jak casto nakupujes. Rozhodne si musime priznat, ze moralne nejvic zastarava prave high-end, protoze u nej padaji ceny nekdy az neuveritelne. Stejne tak je naprosto nesmyslne kupovat nejvykonnejsi GPU pro nekoho, kdo ma 17" LCD... ;-)Citace:

Ano, cena padá, ale na druhé straně zase vhodně zvolený high-end vydrží poměrně dlouho (např. R9700PRO, X1800XT-512, našly by se i další)

The 80nm R600 die - as it was leaked - will now come to life only in a very limited amount of chips, since AMD decided to solve their problems by pulling all resources to go 65nm across the board, including this 720 million heavy monster. This drastically reduces power consumption and enables AMD to clock R600 to 1 GHz or even more. Mass production R600 WILL BE 65nm.

V tom pripade je na to AMD/ATi velmi velmi zle. Kedyze to bola uvedena G80? Bohuzial RH mal opat raz pravdu. Svinsky marketing AMD/ATi.
Zle? Pokud ATi vydá rovnou 65nm verzi s nižší spotřebou a vyšší frekvencí, tak na tom těžko bude zle.
V to dufam, ale ak to budu rovnako informacie ako povodne ohladom datumu vydania tak potes koste :-)Citace:

No pekne, AMD hrabe dost vysoko :o . Malo svojich 65nm CPU a este to pouziju aj na GPU. Dufam ze pouziju tovarne nejakych inych vyrobcov, aby pri tom vsetkom neutrpela kvalita ich CPU.
Zaujimavostou bude ktory smoliar natrafi na 80nm verziu :( . Inac main-stream atd.. budu len na 80nm ??? , to by bola skoda.
Ne... stačí si přečíst předchozí posty :-) Mainstream je 65nm. Všechny grafické čipy jsou vyráběné v TSMC. 65nm výrobu v případě R600 bych nebral úplně 100%, některé zdroje se v tohle rozcházejí, ale nepravděpodobný to rozhodně není...
tomase: vzhledem k tomu, že v polovině dubna vyjde 80nm G80 "ultra" se dá očekávat, že pokud se R600 na trh nedostala alespoň měsíc před ní, tak pro ATi nemá smysl vydávat 80nm R600, která by zřejmě byla pomalejší.
Proc lidi nectete co vam sem no-X posila. Pokud je to vse pravda, potom zadne 80nm v obchodech nebudou. Tech karet se vyrobilo jenom par a ve skladech uz budou jen 65nm.Citace:
