Neco podobneho ma i nV, ale pokud vim, tak se vykon SLI nikdy nedostal na uroven SLI s mustkem. No treba pujde pouzit externi propojka, aby se propadu vykonu predeslo.

To určitě, ale uznáš sám, že by ATi nevydávala dva čipy s identickými parametry. Věřím, že GeCube tam má chybu.

Uvidime, treba je tam jeste dalsi rozdil, ktery na tehle roadmape chybi.
Podle mě bude rozdíl v počtu quadů a šířce sběrnice. RV560 typuju 1-2 quady/128bit a RV570 3 quady/256bit, ale to není nic novýho :neutral:

RV560 will clock at 450MHz, just like the RV570XL, but the RV560's advantage is that it needs only six-layer PCBs. All RV570s need eight-layer PCBs.
The RV560 could be ready earlier but ATI will hold its horses and launch the new refreshed line at the same time.

Jeste by mohl byt mozna rozdil v pametovem rozhrani.
Jiný počet vrstev PCB = jiná sběrnice. A stále věřím, že se čipy budou lišit i počtem shader units :-)

Pokud jsem to trefil, tak ale žádná z nich nebude vhodnou konkurencí 7600GT :neutral: Na to by RV560 potřebovala nějakých 100-150MHz navíc, nebo RV570 100-150MHz "namíň" :)

Additionally, up to four DVI outputs can be used per card with the help of twin DMS59 interfaces.

In today's Q3 financial results for the 2006 financial year, ATI hinted that RV560 and RV570 -- their upcoming new mid-range desktop parts -- are a little late. Talking about discrete desktop GPU sales, ATI spoke of inventory hangover and lateness on products hurting them in the $150-250 price range, although they were bullish on initial 80nm product yeilds.
Putting that together, it seems ATI were referencing RV560 and RV570. More than ever, they'll be keen to use those new chips to displace use of high-end GPU dies in lower-end SKUs, something they've had to do to fight NVIDIA in the mid-range. RV530-powered Radeon X1600 hasn't done what they'd hoped in the lower end of that pricing space.

ATI DECIDED what to call its upcoming R580+ chip. The company has dubbed it the Radeon X1950 XTX, or XT, depending on the variation.
ATI didn't have many more numbers left and it wanted to keep the XTX and XT sub-brands alive. And it figured that X1990 would be too complicated.

The Radeon X1950XTX is based on R580+ core and has 512MB GDDR4. The Radeon X1950 CrossFire Edition will also be announced right after the X1950XTX.

ATI new X1650 PRO to launch in August

The X1650 PRO should cost $129 in retail and is set to replace the existing X1600 PRO cards. We expect them to use the RV535 PRO, 80 nanometre core.
Tak uz to vypada, ze mame i presne datum. Predpokladam, ze kdyz uverejni X1650, tak pri stejne prilezitosti predstavi i ostatni karty.

Tohle trochu nechápu... proč ani o MHz nezvedli frekvenci jádra?
Mozno bude jedinym rozdielom PCB, teda budu to rovnake jadra+pamate s rovnakymi parametrami, jedine XTX nebude mat hore ten spoj na CF. Budu obe XTX, ale druha bude XTX+CF. V dosledku toho mozno nebude model XT.Citace:

Pekne, rozhodne to vypada na vic nez malou inspiraci od AC, pokud to dokonce neni tak, ze to berou primo od nich ;)
Některé zdroje tvrdí, že je to chladič od AC, ale já tomu moc nevěřím - lopatky turbíny na AC nevypadají - jsou rovné a hranaté přesně jako na X1800XL. Ale věřil bych, že ATi nějaké patenty od AC potřebovat mohla - prostě, že nějaký vzájemný vztah tam je :-)
Každopádně jestli je to chladič od AC, hodí to AC po vydání karty na web do novinek.
