Větší rychlost USB (500/1000 Hz)

Našel jsem to na overclock3d.net, určitě se bude hodit.

How to install

1. Restart Vista and repeatedly press F8 to bring up the boot menu. Select 'Safe Mode'.
2. Run the following command from the Run box: bcdedit -set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
3. Run the following command from the Run box: takeown /f "C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\usbport.sys"
4. Run the following command from the Run box: cacls "C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\usbport.sys" /G username:F
(replace username with your username)
5. Open C:\Windows\System32\Drivers and locate the existing usbport.sys
6. Rename usbport.sys to usbport.old
7. Copy the usbport.sys in the file below (which corresponds with your vista version and desired usb frequency).
8. Restart Windows
9. Run mouserate.exe to verify that you now have a 500/1000hz polling rate.

Funguje to nekomu i s KB938979 a KB938194? S beta patchema to uz neslo zmenit, tak jestli to s oficialnima zase jede.

Já je v PC nemám a Update mi je nenabízí, takže nemůžu zkusit

V update myslim jeste nejsou, ma je ale na strankach ms:
x86 KB938979
x86 KB938194
x64 KB938979
x64 KB938194

Tak uz by ty updaty mely byt dostupne i pres windows update (pod cislem KB938979 nebo KB938194 - po jednom z nich prestaly fungovat USB a po reinstalaci driveru uz nefunguje tento tweak), jsem sam komu to nefunguje?

Tak uz jsem to taky rozjel, akorat jsem musel po restartu bootnout s "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement" pres F8 menu :)
Jeste mam dotaz, da se nejak zrychlit rychlost pohybu mysi ve 2D? Po zvyseni frekvence se zpomali a i na max. nastaveni rychlosti v oknech jezdi docela pomalu.

Setpoint si zkousel?

neviem ako na inych myskach, ale setpoint mne na G5 automaticky hodi 500Hz (ale v XP ... predpokladal by som, ze to spravi aj vo Vistach)

Právě sem přešel na visty.. a po updatováni mi přestali fungovat všechny USB porty, tudiž mi to teď funguje pokud vrátim původní usbport soubor (125hz) nebo jak píše silenec "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement" pres F8 menu"
