Jak to vypadá s drivery -----> 3Dfx
Vypadá to,že s driverama pro naše Voodoo-čka se něco dělá.A to jak na
X3dfxgamers tak i (můj oblíbený) 3Dfxunderground team.
X3dfxgamers vydá 1.11 2002 drivery Voodoolizer 1.04.01 beta 3.
Co ale budou obsahovat a jaká tam budou beta vylepšení to nevím.
Zato 3Dfxunderground team pravidelně informuje na serveru voodooalert.de o pokrocích svých driverů.

Here is a more detailed report about the new beta in comparision to the old beta {6}:
d3d is now working like it should be but it was necessarily to download a 26 MB huge update for XP, which was solving issues with the driver
the driver is now fully dx9 compatible
the trilinear filtering is finally working in d3d but with a relatively high loss on performance (69,2fps down to 57,9fps in Drakan 1024x768x32);
in opengl there is no significant performanceloss
UT is now working with the keyboard in 32bit and S3-textures but some mipmaperrors are still present in the distance
Diablo 2 has no problem anylonger with the 4xRG-FSAA activated and the imagequality is now even "sharper" as before
it is not possible to take screenshots, they are getting corrupt within (so I can not show you the better imagequality of the antialiasing, sincerely )
the maximum resolutin for the T-Buffer in SAM1 and SAM2 is now increased to 1024x768x32 for both settings but of course with very low performance on that high resolutions
the 2xRG-FSAA looks better than before and has nolonger corrupt writings in some games (like UT or SAM) if you compare in 800x600 the 2x against the 4xRG-FSAA so you see really no differences between them except the lower fps in 4xRG-FSAA
