Tezko rict - ten 33MB pack je Packaging Version 7.80-021107a-006759C, a primo u Ati pisou Packaging Version: 7.80-021107a-006641C (resp. 7.80-021107a-006642C u multilanguage verze).
A jeste co je noveho:
- The RADEON™ 9700, RADEON™9500, RADEON™ 9000, and RADEON™ 8500 series no longer experience slow downs when moving WINAMP windows around the display area
- The system display panel no longer shows the incorrect ATI driver version after installing a secondary ATI card when using a multi monitor configuration
- Running the 3DMark2001 Lobby test on RADEON™ 7000 card no longer suffers from display corruption (specifically found in Max Payne's glasses)
- Display corruption is no longer found when playing the game Revolt
- Running multiple 3DLab demos under Windows 2000 or XP when using a RADEON™ 9000 Pro will no longer result in a system hang

Performance Improvements
As with most CATALYST™ releases, the performance has increased in many various situations. Here are some examples observed in CATALYST™ version 02.5. The RADEON™ 9700 PRO gets faster in Antialiasing and Anisotropic Filtering. It is up to 10% faster with 4x Antialiasing and also up to 10% faster with 8X Anisotropic Filtering. This performance improvement is noticed both individually and together. The performance improvement is noticed across nearly every game title. The RADEON™ 9700 PRO also gains appreciably in two Workstation-oriented tests:
• ViewPerf 7 Unigraphics score has doubled with the latest CATALYST™ release
• ViewPerf 6 ProCDRS score is up 30%
New features of CATALYST™ 02.5
The CATALYST™ software suite includes the following new features:
Control panel option for users to enable Vsync Using the CATALYST™ 02.5-driver and control panel users will have greater control over their Wait for Vertical Sync options. The Direct 3D control panel allows users to choose three Wait for Vertical Sync options: Always Off, Application Preference, and Always On. The OpenGL control panel allows users to choose four Wait for Vertical Sync options: Always Off, Application Preference (Default Off), Application Preference (Default On), and Always On.
Issues Resolved in CATALYST™ 02.5
The following section provides a summary of the issues that have been resolved in the latest release of CATALYST™ 02.5.
• The RADEON™ 9700, RADEON™9500, RADEON™ 9000, and RADEON™8500 series no longer experience slow downs when moving WINAMP windows around the display area
• The system display panel no longer shows the incorrect ATI driver version after installing a secondary ATI card when using a multi monitor configuration
• Running the 3DMark2001 Lobby test on RADEON™ 7000 card no longer suffers from display corruption (specifically found in Max Payne's glasses)
• Display corruption is no longer found when playing the game Revolt
• Running multiple 3DLab demos under Windows 2000 or XP when using a RADEON™ 9000 Pro will no longer result in a system hang
• Using the mouse to zoom out and rotate the view to a birds eye view in the game NeverWinter Nights no longer causes flashing squares and missing textures/triangles
• The game Aquanox no longer displays texture mapping corruption when the Landscape Light option is set to on
• No One Lives Forever 2 demo no longer has display corruption when using a hardware cursor with the MOBILITY RADEON™ 9000
• Hibernating message screen is now displayed on a DVI panel when a RADEON™ 9700 is installed
• The assigned hotkey to minimize all apps on the current monitor is now functioning correctly on a RADEON™ 8500 running under Windows 2000
• Running the GL Quake .97 at 1024x768x32bpp no longer results in a GPF
• SMARTGART now correctly indicates the AGP Setting and Fast write status on the RADEON™8500 under Windows 2000 and the RADEON™ 9000 under Windows ME. Previous to this release both AGP setting and AGP Fast writes were always being reported as off
Known Issues
The following section provides a brief description of known issues associated with the latest display driver:
• Need For Speed 2 may potentially hang in very high detail levels. ATI recommends turning down the World Details and Special Effects options down one notch to avoid hangs. A fix will be delivered in a future CATALYST™ release
• When using the RADEON™ 8500 under Windows XP, the Unreal Tournament 2003 Demo displays missing textures if Smoothvision is enabled
• Running the game Die Hard: Nakatomi Plaza with the display resolution set to 1024x768x32bpp results in the display character models not being displayed properly. This issue occurs when using a RADEON™ 9700 under the Windows XP operating system
• Running the official benchmark for CodeCreatures Pro with the desktop set to 1024x768x32bpp results in the benchmark failing to complete. This issue occurs when using a RADEON™ 9700
• Playing a DVD movie using the CyberLink PowerDVD 4.0.12 results in a system hangs when dragging the overlay around the Windows XP desktop. This issue occurs when using the RADEON™ 8500
• Installing a RADEON™ 7500 series card under Windows XP SP1 results in the monitor shutting down after booting to the desktop
• Dragging the TS video window or TS Live Ext window to the extended monitor, then moving the window back results in the MMC application hanging. This issue occurs when using a RADEON™ 9000 Pro under the Windows 2000 operating system
• Using the TVPlayer under Windows ME to record still captures results in a green screen. This issue occurs when using the RADEON™ 9700

Neverwinter Nights to sice pomáhá snad,ale na druhou stranu tam přestalo fungovat u brnění a zbraní ten lesk,co opraví,tak hned zase sprasí,Morrowind je furt bugový.Archangel .. u něho stále přeblikávají textury,otázka je,jestli ovšem není problém ze hrou a né z ovladačema.
Navíc některé chyby co bych měl mít podle nich,jsem nikdy neměl.Opravujou něco co ani neexistuje jako problém.

.... kazdopadne to sem se chtel zeptat, dyz furt neco v driverech vopravujou .. taky se vam vobjevujou v NFS hot pursuite2 bily tecky v lajne (rek bych neco jako na spojnici textur)?

me se objevujou v GTA3 a sem tam misto silnice leskla plocha. Mam ale catalyst 2.3, kdyz sem dal 2.4 tak me XP hazely po kazdym startu chybovou hlasku, ze nastal konflikt ovladacu graf. karty. hmm ???

Cert : na tom PC Tuning mají nějaké divné výsledky .. já mám u pixel a advanced pixel shaderu prakticky 2x více než oni.

.... tak f tom nejsem sam, rikal sem si jestli to neni f tom mym radeousi, ale vypada to zrejme spis na drivery .. ne ze bych se z toho zrovna posral, ale trochu to rusi .. :(

pokud uz de o ty problemy, tak ja mam jeden brutalni s 3ds max 5.0, byl i s 4.0 . Pri urcitych akcich pocitac proste provede restart/DSOD, problem je v tom, ze ty akce jsou celkem dulezite, konkretne jde o hide a praci a groupama.
