Zdravicko panove,
Mam tu tuto desku s celeronem 18x100Mhz a je hroozne pomala, je to skoro k neuvereni jak. Muj Celer 133x8 (socket 378) je asi tak 100x rychlejsi :-(
Deska je osazena chipsetem VIA P4x266 a predpokladam ze to je ten problem. :evil:
Chtel bych od vas poradit, zda jste se nekdo s necim podobnym nesetkal popr. neviresil.

Nemas vypnutu cache v BIOSe?
Ahojky, vse je nastavene tak jak bych to nastavil, tj. dobre :-) Vsechny cache on a udma zapnute.. Nicmene pecko je pooomaale, prirovnal bych to tak k celeru 400 :-(
Myslite ze pomuze novy BIOS? Na strankach vyrobce pisou ze pridava pouze podporu novejsich CPU..
p4 celer je sice pomaly, ale toto je asi trochu moc .. via shitset neni ziadne terno, ale nieco ine v tom musi byt ... neni mozne aby to bolo vaaaazne taaaaak pomaaaleee :) daj bios na fail safe defaults a hod tam najnovsie hyperiony ... inak fakt neviem .. ake hodnoty hadze sandra, 3dmark etc.?

Nejnovejsi hyperiony tam jsou :-( Napadlo me este, esli nemuze byt neaky problem s kompatibilitou s VGA, je tam neakej GF4?? Vzpominam si, ze VIA chipset a GF nedelavalo dobrotu, proto jsem zkousel i zpomailt AGPcko, bez uspechu :-(

az tolko si toho nemusel, skorej sem hod cislene skoer ako alu/fpu z arithmetic a multimedia, ale o to by ani neslo > napadlo ti niekedy ze to moze byt mnozstvom ram > 128MB < ak tam mas winXP tak sa nediv ze to je pomela jak slimak .....

Je to pomalý i gdyž s tím pracuješ ve windows? Nebo tě jenom štve to načítání OS?
No prave ze je pomalej pri praci, a win2000 jsem tam dal az ja, protoze si ten clovek stezoval ze 98 jsou desne pomale, ze se ten poc kouse atd..
1, Pamet budu ted nekdy kupovat
2, Myslel jsem ze je to 18x100 ale asi jsem to spletl bios pise 1780 tak jsem se asi prekoukl a vsugeroval si 1800 :-)
3, Co me zarazilo, je ze sandra pise System BIOS : A SMBIOS/DMI 2.3 or later compliant BIOS is recommended. Check for a BIOS update.
4, ATA device (fixed) : Acoustic Management enabled. Peformance may be impaired.
zaverem, taky jsem myval ve svem pecku 128MB ale bylo rozhodne rychlejsi :-( Tim myslim ze kliknes pravim tlacitkem na plochu a trva treba i 3sekundy nez se vyroluje menu :-).
Mozna ze je to tou pameti, koupim a uvidim, koukal jsem ze ma stale zabrano kolem 200MB
