Fraps 2.0.0 is finally available! Fraps is a tool that lets you monitor current framerates in a corner of the screen for programs using DirectX or OpenGL technology.
It also allows you to easily take screenshots of games, make movies of gameplay, and manually determine the average framerate between two points.

The changes for Fraps 2.0:

Sound is captured along with the video.
High speed capture codec allows for recording games up to 1024x768.
Frame-skipping support, movies always run at the correct rate.
FUll gamma correction on screenshots and movies. No dark captures!
Half-size record option lets you play in hi-res without chewing through disk space.
Ability to disable the overlay, and a hotkey to switch corners!
Much nicer user interface.

What's New

Fixed a bug in the Nforce 2 SMBus routine

Nforce 2 cool bit (?) added. Not sure if this is really the cool bit as it is influenced by other bits as well and the power saving seems to be less than on other systems.
You probably have to turn off the halt detect bit to achieve cooling with this bit.

Switched to VC7

Alcohol 120% lets you backup your original game CDs or DVDs even if they are protected. It can create 31 virtual CD & DVD-ROMs, allowing the user to play the discs without the need to insert the physical disc. In addition, it also allows you to create copies of your CD & DVD to CD-R / CD-RW / DVD-R / DVD-RW / DVD-RAM and DVD+RW discs. Since virtual CD-ROMs can be accessed a lot faster, you can play them at a reading speed of 200X.
Alcohol 52% is an emulation software allowing users to play CDs & DVDs without the need for the physical disc. (This functionality is included in Alcohol 120%)
