Kde dělám chybu při overclockingu Athlona XP 1800+ Tb - B0 ?
Tak jsem podlehl pokušení a vyměnil jsem Athlona XP 1700+ Palomino za Ahlona XP 1800+ T-breda, abych mohl dobře taktovat. Na základním taktu jede při docela nízké teplotě, max 35°C (Palomino jelo při 46°C). Tak jsem si myslel, že by mohl jít hodně nahoru. Na 133 MHz FSB jede na všech násobičích, ale max na 1666,6MHz. Zvednout FSB na nestandartmí kmitočet jsem zatím nezkoušel.
Pokud ho nahodím na 166MHz, tak proběhne post, jeví se jako XP 2400+, načítá se systém, což taky proběhne OK, ale pokud má přepnout na grafický režim, tak zůstane černá obrazovka a nic se neděje. Jako-by nejela grafika. Zkoušel jsem nastavit i AGP na 2x, ale to samé. Zkoušel jsem i 10x166=1666 MHz, tento takt mu šel při 133 MHz (12,5x133), ale při 166 stále to samé. Prostě na 166 FSB ani náhodou. Myslím si, že je to nějaká ptákovina, nebo, že bych měl takovou smůlu a chytil zrovna shitózní kousek? Paměti mám DDR 333, tam by problém být neměl, kromě toho je honím stále na 166MHz i při FSB 133 MHz. Napětí jsem zatím nezvedal výš, jak 1,625V.
Mám tento kousek: AXDA1800DUT3C, 9391665240281, JIUHB0310XPMW. To by mělo znamenat, že je to sice ze slušné serie, ale původně nepovedený XP 2400+. Poraď te jak na něj ? Díííky moc.
Jak zdvihnou Vcore, když deska umí pouze 1,7V ?
Včera se mi povedlo umravnit Sandru 2003, aby ukazovala správné hodnoty AGP a PCI clock. Tak že jsem se nakonec dostal na kmitočet 12x161MHz=1932MHz, při 1,7V CPU se hlásí, jako Athlon XP 2400+. PC je Prime stable a startuje, jak má. AGP je 64MHZ a PCI 32MHz, multiple 1/5.
Pokud jdu ale výš s FSB (166MHz), tak PC sice naskočí, je i Prime stable, ale po vypnutí a vychladnutí a zapnutí sice nabíhá, hlásí se jako 2600+, ale končí jak jsem uvedl na začátku, při přechodu na grafický režim. Potřeboval bych asi zvednout napětí. Deska umožňuje v BIOSu pouze default +-0,1V, to je max. 1,7V. Tak jsem si tady našel, jak na vyšší Vcore default a zkusím to propojkami v Socketu a uvidím, kam se až s tím kouskem dostanu.
