Že by ve specifickacích sečetli nejen sběrnici, ale i plochu obou čipů? Už zbývá jen 55nm + 55nm = 110nm
Ale k duální kartě bych s v tomhle okamžiku asi taky přikláněl spíš. Znamenalo by to ovšem, že jednotlivé čipy budou spíš 256bit(?)

Sbernici asi jo, ale ta velikost chipu mi prijde ciste copy/paste z GT200. 55nm verze by mela mit kolem 400mm2.Původně odeslal no-X
Vzhledem k pouzitym GDDR5 by 512bit nedavala smysl. Takze 2x256 v kombinaci s 2x1GDDR5 dava vetsi smysl.

NVIDIA to rename its graphics chips
TG DailyIndustry sources told TG Daily that while the 8000 series is being phased out, all 55 nm 9000-series GPUs will carry a G100-series name. By the end of 2008, Nvidia will be offering today’s 9000 series as G100, GT120, GT130, GT140 and GT150 models.
When the 2009 45 nm GPUs arrive, which seems to be the case around Q1 or Q2, Nvidia will have fully transitioned to the new branding structure: Enthusiast GPUs will be integrated into the GTX200-series, performance GPUs into the GT200-series, mainstream GPUs into the GS200-series and entry-level products into the G200-series.

NVIDIA can use the DX10.1 effects in Far Cry 2
ExpreviewFar Cry 2 will be unveiled today. Now, we’ve learned that Far Cry 2 would be a DX10.1 game. As we know that only AMD graphics card supports the DX10.1.
Now, according to the statement of NVIDIA China: the DX10.1 features in Far Cry 2 will also supported by Geforce cards.
First, the DX10.1 features are reading in Multi sampled Depth Z-buffer to lead the better performance of Anti Aliasing. Then, it needs the accelerated of hardware, GeForce support it as well as the ATI Radeon.
Second, the function needs a software to control. AMD and NVIDIA are in different way: ATI Radeon utilizes DX10.1 API, but NVIDIA cards can accomplish exactly the same effect within DX10.
Anyway, the Far Cry 2 will be unveiled soon, so we can taste quickly.

Geforce GTX 260 192 reaches end of life
FudzillaNvidia has stopped producing the 65nm based Geforce GTX 260 with 192 shaders and all GTX 260 that are coming from now on are 55nm and have 216 shaders.
These cards will be available in early December and we are quite sure that they will overclock much better than the old ones. Nvidia doesn’t want to let ATI walk away without a fight and it's preparing a surprise or two for this month.
